DR. JULIANE LEE, MD, MS
All acupuncture at the Institute for Athletic Acupuncture, LLC is performed by Dr. Lee. Her practice is primarily based on auricular (ear) acupuncture, because it offers safe, rapid, profound symptom relief and performance enhancement.
Auricular acupuncture is so powerful the US military term for it is "Battlefield Acupuncture."
Auricular Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on a microsystem in which the entire body is represented on the surface of the ear. Mapping of the body on the ear has been developed by the Chinese and Europeans.
Dr. Lee is a pediatric anesthesiologist and pain management physician at Riley's Hospital for Children and faculty member at Indiana University School of Medicine. She has presented exceptional results with acupuncture for headaches and different types of neuropathic pain at national anesthesiology, pain management and medical acupuncture meetings.
In addition to her busy clinical practices at Riley Hospital and IAA, Dr. Lee volunteers in the community and is involved in the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association.
