DR. JULIANE LEE, MD, MS
All acupuncture at the Institute for Athletic Acupuncture, LLC, is performed by Dr. Lee. Her practice is primarily based on auricular (ear) acupuncture, because it offers safe, rapid, profound symptom relief and performance enhancement.
Auricular acupuncture is powerful: the US military use it in "Battlefield Acupuncture."
Auricular Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on the auricular microsystem, in which the entire body is represented on the surface of the ear. Auricular maps were developed by both Chinese and European acupuncturists.
Dr. Lee is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist and pain management physician at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has presented exceptional results with acupuncture for headaches and neuropathic pain at national anesthesiology, pain management and medical acupuncture meetings. In addition to maintaining her busy practice, Dr. Lee enjoys volunteering in the community and is active in the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association.
